The Bateman Family: Puppies...

My beautiful Gigy ... was PREGNANT!!!

I have had Yordy and Gigy for almost 4 years, and we've been trying to find a boyfriend and a girldfriend for them, the vet told me Yordy is too big for Gigy and she might have complications when she gets pregnant. Also I always said Yordy and Gigy are siblings!!! BUT ... now they are married lol.

This is how the story goes, Gigy pretented to be pregnant 2 times before and I took her to the vet and the vet said it was a psychological pregnancy... REALLY?? YES! so this time I did not believe it and I waited until one day before she delivered her puppies. :( I know, I know I'm a bad mother.

The vet said Gigy had 4 puppies, how could she? she's so tiny, The next day she was ready to have the puppies.

I was at work and did not see anything but after, Mmm lets say 5 or 6 hours She was all done. She was so protective with her puppies and did not want Yordy to even look at them.
The puppies were so cute and we learned so much! I did not know puppies wont open their eyes after 3 to 6 weeks after birth, and the most wonderful experience was seeing my Gigy being so cute, careful, loving and protective with the puppies.

Little by little Gigy let us touched the puppies and even played with them but always checking, Oh! and poor Yordy he was scared of the babies hahaha, He was constantly jumping to the couches.

We named them all...

Mujer, because she was the only female of the litter.

Grande, Because he was the big one!

Marron, because his face had more brown than the other 3 puppies.

and Chiquitin, because he was the little one of the litter.

I had such a hard time trying to sell them, first because we got so attached ( they are my grandchildren!) and I really wanted them to have a wonderful and loving family, and that's what I did I still have contact with the families they live with and some of them sent me recent pictures :)
